Why we built WikiMint

I was three commands deep into a module I didn't write, at 1 a.m., touching production. The AI assistant told me a parameter existed. It didn't. The command failed in a way that took an hour to unwind.

That night is the origin, not a market analysis. The tools were filling silence with confident, plausible nonsense, and confident nonsense is worse than an honest blank.

So the rule for everything we build became simple: when we can't verify it, we say so. We label the gap. We don't make things up.
